Xiaomi has been testing its fan in India with the campaign “Desh ka Smartphone,” it seems to be the Chinese brand has fulfilled its promise. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A has been launched which is most affordable smartphone by Xiaomi until now and the much better alternative of Nokia 2 which is priced at 11,430 PKR.
Redmi 5A is the predecessor of Redmi 4A which was launched in Pakistan last year and it is priced at Rs. 12 249. You will be surprised to see that the newer version of this series is expected to cost even lower price.
Redmi 5A Specifications
The Redmi 5A has a lot of similarities with Redmi 4A, same internal hardware, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. This phone feature 13MP f/2.2 camera on rear and 5MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. It has dedicated microSD slot with two SIM card slots and 3000mAh battery which is designed to last two days usage on full charge (it is yet to be tested whether it’s true or not).
It has a 5.0-inch screen with 720p resolution and quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset powers it. The Redmi 5A runs MIUI 9 out of the box with latest software interface of Xiomi.

Redmi 5A Price in Pakistan
The phone will be sold for $77 initially for first 5 million units. Later on, the price of the phone will be equal to base variant Redmi 4A. Xiomi is expected to launch a ground-breaking and budget-friendly smartphone in Pakistan under 10,000 PKR.
